Garden Sports Screen Solution
The Brief: Install an outdoor TV in the garden that can be viewed both from seating area and the garden patio area accompanied by immersive sound in this zone.
Solutions:
1x 75” Samsung Terrace QE75LST7TA 75″ Outdoor TV and sound bar will be mounted on-wall ideally in a shady area out of direct sunlight approx 1.5m from the floor (If the TV needs to go into direct sunlight then a visor may need to be constructed to reduce reflection.
1x Video and power distribution
1x Sonos port (will be located in the house along with Sky Mini box)
Patio
2x Sonos Moves (wirelessley connected and paired to sound bar to produce multichannel stereo in the garden zone.
Other TV’s
2x LG OLED55CX5LB in the Living room & master bedroom will be upgraded to 2x LG 55OLED Tv’s using existing locations and brackets, unsightly wires will be chased into walls or concealed with white channel.
Out door TV Video source
A Sky mini will be supplied by the client to play sports audio and visual content.
Outdoor TV Audio source
A Sonos port will be used to link the audio from the Sky mini box and play music also this links up to the Sonos moves in the garden to create a garden music zone.
AV Distribution
A 20m Fibre optic HDMI a power cable and a Optical over cat6 cable will be hidden in the flower beds and ran to AV cupboard position in the house internally to a small cupboard, this small cupboard will house a Sonos port and a Sky Q mini box.
WiFi
To make sure the Sonos can be controlled in the patio area the WiFi will need to be boosted, this will be done using a Wireless mesh router and slave module. This will be used in the first instance if any issues arise with drop-outs or devices not being seen on the network then a hardwired solution may have to be used as a fall-back solution.
Control
3x rooms will use the TV & sky original remotes. No control system is required as long as existing TVs have the full version of CEC control.
The client will supply 1x SkyQ main box and 2x sky mini box, 1x Sky Bluetooth remote
